  • Conducted Planning / Feasibility Study which revealed local of local individual wealth capacity, necessitating funding from government sources.
  • Worked with Massachusetts state lobbyists to secure $5 million from legislative delegation and Governor Healey’s office.
  • Successfully solicited catalyst donors to initiate $10 million challenge grant, with a $3 million unrestricted seed funding gift.

Project Description

$87 million restoration of a 1920 historic venue located in Holyoke Massachusetts. To date more than $44 million has been identified toward an ongoing campaign, including state and federal historic tax credits, MA State F&A funding, foundation funding, corporate funding, private philanthropy and public investment financing.

Once open, the 1,600-seat Victory Theatre will present Tier A Broadway productions, international production of dance and theatre, co-productions with regional Tony Award winning theatres, and community programming to promote gathering of regional constituency and civic pride.
